The 2026 NFL Draft is shaping up as one of the most competitive in recent memory, and Round 3 is no exception. With a mix of positional needs and high-upside prospects, teams are making strategic moves to address roster gaps. From offensive linemen to defensive playmakers, here’s a breakdown of the top selections from picks 65 to 100.
The Arizona Cardinals took a step toward stabilizing their offensive line by selecting Arkansas tackle Fernando Carmona at No. 65. The 6-foot-5, 322-pounder played left tackle for the Razorbacks in 2025 and showed promise as a run and pass blocker. Carmona could transition to right tackle or even guard in the NFL.
Tennessee aimed to bolster its wide receiver room by picking USC’s Ja’Kobi Lane at No. 66. Lane caught 49 passes for 745 yards and four touchdowns in 2025 and was a redzone threat in 2024 with 12 touchdowns. If he shows speed in pre-draft workouts, he could climb the board.
The Las Vegas Raiders, in need of blocking help for Fernando Mendoza, landed Penn State’s Drew Shelton at No. 67. Shelton, 6-foot-5 and 308 pounds, played left tackle for the Nittany Lions in 2024 and finished the season on a strong note. His versatility at guard or tackle gives the Raiders flexibility.
Philadelphia added defensive line depth by selecting Penn State’s Dani Dennis-Sutton at No. 68. The 6-foot-5, 272-pounder had 42 tackles and 8.5 sacks in 2025 and 36 tackles with 6.5 sacks in 2024. Dennis-Sutton is a disruptive force but needs to prove consistency at the next level.
Houston grabbed edge rusher Keyron Crawford from Auburn at No. 69. Crawford, who started his career at Arkansas State, had five sacks in 2025 and 5.5 in 2023. Though raw, he has the upside to develop into a reliable backup for Danielle Hunter.
Cleveland addressed its interior offensive line needs by selecting Auburn’s Connor Lew at No. 70. The 6-foot-3, 300-pounder was a dominant force in 2025 before a torn ACL cut his season short. Comparisons to Creed Humphrey highlight his potential as a long-term starter.
Washington bolstered its edge rush corps with Texas Tech’s Romello Height at No. 71. Height totaled 10 sacks in 2025 and impressed in the College Football Playoff with Oregon. His functional strength and speed make him a dangerous pass rusher.
Cincinnati added defensive back depth by selecting Georgia’s Daylen Everette at No. 72. Everette had 49 tackles and one interception in 2025 and 58 tackles with three interceptions in 2024. His size and clutch performances give the Bengals a solid option at cornerback.
New Orleans took San Diego State’s Chris Johnson at No. 73. The 6-foot, 185-pounder had four interceptions in 2025 and three in 2024. Johnson could start as a nickel corner and grow into a starter in base packages.
The Kansas City Chiefs added speed to their receiving corps with LSU’s Aaron Anderson at No. 74. Anderson, a 5-foot-8 speedster, had 61 receptions for 875 yards in 2024. He’s a playmaker who can stretch the field for Pat Mahomes.
With Round 3 complete, attention turns to Round 4 as teams continue to fill out their rosters with impact players.
