
Nikita Kucherov Nathan MacKinnon and Connor McDavid have been named the 2025-26 Hart Memorial Trophy finalists. The trio repeats as the top three vote-getters from the 2023-24 season. Each player led his team in scoring and delivered historic performances that helped secure playoff berths.
Kucherov led the Tampa Bay Lightning with 44-86, 130 in 76 games. He outscored his closest teammate Jake Guentzel by 42 points. Kucherov ranked first in the NHL in points per game at 1.71 and even-strength assists with 57. His 40 multi-point games were second in the league. The 32-year-old has now been a finalist for three straight seasons and is seeking his second Hart Trophy.
MacKinnon dominated for the Colorado Avalanche with 53-74, 127 in 80 games. His 53 goals led the NHL and earned him the Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophy. MacKinnon also led the league with a +57 plus/minus rating and 350 shots on goal. The 30-year-old has been a Hart finalist five times and is looking to win his second trophy.
McDavid led the Edmonton Oilers with 48-90, 138 in 82 games. He earned his sixth career Art Ross Trophy and factored on 48.9 percent of Edmonton’s goals. McDavid recorded a career-high 20-game point streak and had 43 multi-point games. The 29-year-old is a three-time Hart winner and is chasing his fourth trophy.

The Hart Trophy will be awarded at the NHL Awards on June 15. The winner will be announced live during the ceremony in Las Vegas.
