Comedic legends Will Ferrell and Steve Carell made a rare joint appearance at the Los Angeles Kings game against the Edmonton Oilers on April 11 at Crypto.com Arena. The duo, both known for their iconic work in *Anchorman*, *The Office*, and *Despicable Me 4*, sat side by side in Ferrell’s season ticket seats along the glass. Ferrell wore a Team Sweden jersey featuring Kings forward Adrian Kempe, who represented Sweden in the 4 Nations Face-Off.
Carell, who recently joined the Florida Panthers fanbase in his HBO show *Rooster*, has a history with hockey. He played college hockey at Denison University and attended a New York Rangers game in March with co-star Charly Clive. At that game, Carell helped toss T-shirts into the Madison Square Garden crowd.
The Kings lost 4-2 to the Oilers in a hard-fought contest. Connor McDavid recorded two goals and an assist, while Jack Hughes added a goal and an assist for Edmonton. Kempe, whose jersey Ferrell wore, tallied one assist. Kings captain Anže Kopitar, who recently set the franchise’s all-time points record, finished the night with a -2 rating.
Ferrell has made several appearances at Kings games in recent months. On January 2, he dressed as an NHL referee for a night on the ice. This latest visit marks another high-profile moment for the Kings’ fanbase and highlights the growing cultural crossover between comedy and hockey.

The Kings will face the New York Rangers in their next game on April 14. Kopitar is expected to be in the lineup as the team continues its push for a playoff spot.

The San Antonio Spurs edged the Dallas Mavericks 114-109 on Friday night, but the story was not the win. It was Victor Wembanyama’s 40-point, 13-rebound performance in just 26 minutes, a calculated move to reach the 65-game threshold required for regular-season award eligibility.
